Copy/move all the mod-archives from NMM's /mods/-folder to Vortex /downloads/skyrimse/-folder.Ģ: Under Vortex - Settings - Mods, make sure "Mod Staging Folder" is on same disk as the game, preferably on a fast SSD with lots of free disk space.ģ: Vortex will read all the downloads, this can take some time and until finished it can take a very long time to install mods.
Under Vortex - Settings - Download, specify the location of the /downloads/-folder, this can be on an old hd with lots of free disk space. So, the easy and fast way to switch to another mod manager goes something like:ġ: Install Vortex and add SSE as a managed game.
Since you're switching from NMM to another mod manager, you should have all the mod-archives in NMM's /mods/-folder.
